Q. Why did you choose Hoshino Resorts?

My name is Maka Fujita and I work at Hotel Breston Court Banquet Unit. She joined the company in 2020, and this year will be her fourth year.

Although I graduated from a bridal vocational school, I was interested in Karuizawa weddings, and since it was close to my hometown, I first learned about Takahara Church. When he got a job, he participated in an internship and had the opportunity to listen to stories from his seniors. At work, I was trying to do what I wanted to do, and in my private life, my life in Karuizawa and Nagano was very fulfilling. I thought it was really wonderful to see how my private life was put to good use in my work life, and the expressions on the faces of my seniors when I talked to them about it.I wanted to become a member of society like that, so I decided to work for the company.

Q. Current work content and motivation

Hotel Breston Court mainly conducts bridal business. Among them, the banquet unit that I belong to is a unit that manages wedding receptions as well. My job involves sharing information with staff involved in the day's service, cooking, emcee, and sound staff, supporting customers, and escorting the bride and groom. A once-in-a-lifetime thank you to the bride and groom. It's very rewarding. Also, when it comes to wedding receptions, there are a lot of people involved, so I find it rewarding to put everything together.

Q. What makes Hoshino Resorts unique?

We sometimes hold meetings to improve our operations or create new products, and we may be asked for our opinions. I'm not the type of person to express my opinions, but my seniors create an environment where I can express my opinions, and it's reflected in new products, so it's really fun to be able to express my opinions regardless of age. I think.

I had an opportunity to develop a new venue, and at that time, I wanted people to enjoy the dessert together as a family, so as I continued cooking and holding meetings, I developed a coffee blend that would go well with the dessert. I received it.

Q. how to spend the holidays

You may have an image of Karuizawa being green during the green season, but I also like Karuizawa in the winter, and on my days off in the winter, I look for fluffy slopes and go snowboarding with my friends. In the winter, I enjoy snowboarding, then eating ramen and taking a bath at Tombo Hot Spring. Also, the food in Karuizawa is delicious, so I spend my days off visiting cafes, or finding a bakery that's open in the morning and enjoying Karuizawa with bread and coffee.
