I felt a connection after meeting at a seminar and got a job at Hoshino Resorts.

When I thought about finding a job during my university days, I wasn't interested in a desk-based job that required me to be in front of a computer all day. There is a famous wedding facility next to the school, and I used to see it every day, so maybe it was because I admired the gorgeous atmosphere. I also worked part-time at another wedding venue. In such an environment, I decided to start working in the bridal industry as a career option.

At that time, Hoshino CEO was often featured on NHK and business programs, and the name Hoshino Resorts was often heard as a unique company. I thought it was in the inn/hotel industry, but I attended a seminar and learned that they were doing bridal work, so I felt a connection. I also remember being surprised at the scale of the bridal business in Karuizawa. I trusted my instincts and narrowed down my job search to Hoshino Resorts, without doing much other job hunting.

Even though I don't cook, my first assignment was as a pastry chef! OJT was a series of surprises.

I got a job at Hoshino Resorts because I was looking forward to working in the bridal industry, and my first job was as a pastry chef. I wasn't bad at cooking, but I never thought I'd be involved in it as a career!

When I joined the company in 2006, OJT was a very busy system in which students had to experience three different workplaces in one year, but I started my first OJT as a pastry chef, which lasted about six months, which was the longest period of OJT. It is. I think many people would not work on something they are not good at unless they have this kind of opportunity. Hoshino Resorts is a company that aims to be generalists rather than specialists, and I now feel that it would be better to have them do everything during OJT. What I remember is the Karuizawa Sweets Expo, which was one of the hotel's main events that was held every year at Hotel Breston Court until 1, and which attracted fans from all over the country. is. Despite the pressure of not being able to make it in time for the actual performance, I made 3 roses out of marzipan. A few people worked on making an incredible number of roses in silence, and when they were finished, we all hugged each other in joy. It's such a strong memory that even after more than 2015 years, that scene still comes back to me clearly (lol).

During the second period of OJT, I learned about beverage service at the restaurant [Waiwai Grill] at [Risonare Yatsugatake]. In my third term, I was assigned to the activities department at the snow resort Alts Bandai. They offer a snow play space called ``Adventure Kingdom'' for children who don't ski, and I spent many days having fun with them at the ski resort.

When I was job-hunting, I thought I would be working in the hotel industry, but I ended up completing the third term without experiencing any lodging work at Hoshino Resorts...I was constantly surprised when I was assigned to the OJT.

Your dream of moving in winter will come true! I gained many experiences such as creating a system that led to my career.

Even after one year of OJT, my desire to work in the bridal industry had not changed, so I applied for a position in the bridal sales unit at Hotel Breston Court. At [Hotel Breston Court], the work generally handled by people called bridal planners is divided into a sales unit and a reservation unit. I chose the sales unit because I thought it was a job that was closest to what I had originally imagined as a bridal planner, which involved communicating to customers the appeal of churches, venues, and plans.

Hoshino Resorts has a work style called ``winter transfer,'' in which employees are transferred to a snow resort for several months during the winter. I really enjoyed my OJT experience at Alts Bandai, so I thought it would be great if I could use this winter transfer to go to Alts Bandai. However, in the bridal business, reservations for spring and subsequent bridal events are made during the winter, so the Karuizawa department was busy in the winter, so unfortunately, my dream of moving during the winter did not come true.

After about two years of experience in sales, there was an open job posting for the Morland Studio unit, which is a bridal photography team, so I decided to run for the position. Even within the same bridal industry, I was attracted to jobs with strong creative elements such as designer and product development. At that time, Morland Studio was expanding its business, including not only shooting for Karuizawa Hotel Breston Court, but also for RISONARE Yatsugatake and Tomamu Resort.

From the first year of my transfer to [Morland Studio], my long-awaited winter transfer came true. I was transferred to the same Tohoku area as during the third period of OJT, but instead of [Arts Bandai], I moved to [Nekoma Ski Resort]. It had just started operations. Up until then, I had been in an environment where I had to learn the work by learning the work by working within already completed systems, but this was the first time that I was involved in creating a system from scratch.

During your winter transfer, you will be working on a completely different job and interacting with completely different people. I think it was a very valuable experience, as it expanded my knowledge and allowed me to conduct self-analysis when thinking about my future career. I also believe that the flexibility of my way of thinking has helped me in my career since then.

A turning point in his private life and work coincides, leading him to take on a new challenge.

I met and got married to my husband while I was working at [Moland Studio] for about three years. Along with my own marriage, [Morland Studio] also reached a turning point, and we had a big project. It was a project that outsourced the production process from filming onward, and being involved in this work was a good experience, including the experience of external relations. Now that that situation has settled down, and in consideration of my work style, I moved from [Hotel Breston Court] to the Community Zone.

My work here is mainly to support the operation of Harunire Terrace. I listened to requests from stores and made them come true, as well as supported publicity photography. I learned many things for the first time, and I feel that the breadth and depth of my work has increased.

Two years ago, my responsibilities expanded to include not only [Harunire Terrace] but also [Muramin Shokudo] and [Hoshino Onsen Tombo no Yu], and I have been involved in marketing, including attraction development, support for seasonal event management, website management, and production of promotional materials. I am involved in the field of

Currently, I am taking advantage of shortened working hours in order to work while raising children.

In her private life, her first son was born. I took childcare leave until my child turned one year old, and the following month I returned to work in the same department as before, the Community Zone General Manager's Office Unit. Since this is my first child, I need strength every day to raise my child because there are so many things I don't understand. By using Hoshino Resorts' childcare support system, I am working shorter hours than usual. At first, I started working 1 hours a day, but when I got the hang of balancing work and childcare, I increased it to 6 hours. Currently, it is 7 hours and 7 minutes, which is almost full time, but this 45 minute reduction has helped me pick up children from nursery school. Even if you are tired from work, your child will be waiting for you at the nursery school. I look forward to seeing the smile on your face when I pick you up. I think my life will change dramatically once I start elementary school, but I feel at ease because I can continue to work reduced hours until my second year of elementary school.

Also, in 2014, I built my long-awaited home. Since then, I have been spending more time at home on my days off. When I was single and lived in Tokyo, I was the type of person who never stayed home on my days off and always had plans to go out. My garden is now the best place for me and my family.

Also, after a child is born, the number of acquaintances and friends increases through the child, expanding the community. I am from Yamanashi Prefecture, and my husband is from Singapore, but I found out that there are actually many people living in Karuizawa who are not locals like us. However, right now in my life, Karuizawa, where I am building my own home and raising my children, is becoming the "hometown" for our family.
