Q1. Reason for choosing Hoshino Resorts

My name is Nana Kawakita and I work at the Karuizawa Hotel Breston Court Reservation Unit. I joined the company in April 2023 as a mid-career recruit.

I originally had experience at two companies, my previous job and the job before that, and this is my second job change. At my first company, I did bridal-related work that was similar to my current job. I'm here. For some reason, I ended up doing a completely different job for three years at another company, but I never forgot how rewarding it was to be a once-in-a-lifetime helper, and I wanted to go back to bridal work. Thinking like this was the first thing that triggered my career change. Originally, I was very interested in two churches, Karuizawa Kogen Church and Stone Church Uchimura Kanzo Memorial Hall, which are located on the premises of Karuizawa Hotel Breston Court, and I thought that I would like to propose a wedding ceremony here. This is the reason why I chose Hoshino Resorts this time.

Q2. Current work content and motivation

Yes, my current job is to provide total support to brides and grooms who have contracted to have their weddings at Karuizawa Hotel Breston Court, and to discuss coordination with them. We are. About 6 months before the wedding, I will give you my greetings, and after that, we will work together to plan the wedding day.As a customer, I also feel that I am creating a once-in-a-lifetime wedding. The rewarding part of the process is that we can work together to provide hospitality to the guests, and the rest is the rewarding part of making sure that the guests are happy on the day of the event and that they say, ``Thank you.'' I feel it's rewarding.

Q3. What is unique about Hoshino Resorts?

After I joined the company, I made my debut as a wedding coordinator through training, and what appealed to me was that they had a solid training system that allowed me to take each step one step at a time and receive support until my debut. I really feel that way. As expected, there were many difficult times during the training, but I think the unique appeal of Hoshino Resorts is that it was an environment where people around me could support me, and where I could discuss my concerns. I feel that.

Q4. How do you spend your holidays?

I was originally from Kansai, and I grew up there, but when I came to Karuizawa, I realized that having a car was a must, so I graduated from being a paper driver, and the main thing I do on my days off is going to various places by car. This will be how you spend your time. In particular, I've gone out with members of the reservation unit I'm currently working with, and I've had friends from my time in Kansai come to Karuizawa for the first time. When it comes to places to go, I really like looking for delicious restaurants and cafes, but I also like to go to places like Yamanashi Prefecture around Nagano and Gunma Prefecture. I feel like I'm able to spend my time in a completely different way than when I was in Kansai, and that's something I can only do now, so that's how I spend my days off.
