Q. Why did you choose Hoshino Resorts?

My name is Miho Hayata from the Kai Matsumoto Service Team.

Joined the company in April 2020. This is the fourth year.

I've always loved traveling and was interested in the hotel industry, and as I searched for jobs, I was drawn to Hoshino Resorts' brand power and the ability to multi-task, which allows me to handle a variety of tasks.

We are also expanding our facilities overseas, and since I'm originally from overseas, I thought it would be great if my family knew about it.

Q. Current work content and motivation

The job includes front desk work such as check-in and check-out, guest room cleaning and public cleaning, and preparation and cooking such as grilling and steaming. I also belong to the drink team. I consider types of drinks, place orders, and manage inventory. Also, KAI Matsumoto is famous for its wine, and I am also in charge of activities to introduce that wine.

The most rewarding part is seeing the smiles on the faces of our customers. When someone says ``Thank you,'' I feel glad that I'm doing this job. Another thing that I love is wine, so being able to learn a lot about wine is also very rewarding.

Q. What makes Hoshino Resorts unique?

Well, I think it's a company that can make anything come true.

Since I am multitasking, I need to learn various tasks, but they change the training content to suit each person and make time for me, so I can work without anxiety. Another thing I'm attracted to is that at university I placed a lot of importance on collaboration with the local community, so Hoshino Resorts also offers activities that bring out the charm of the local area to the fullest.

Q. how to spend the holidays

On my days off, I often go on trips with friends, and now we're visiting Hoshino Resorts. I have visited 15 facilities across the country, and I would like to go overseas in the future.

Other than that, I love going for walks with my dog, eating delicious food, so I go out to eat with local friends, and since I'm an only child, I value alone time very much, and I enjoy delicious cafe lattes every day. While drinking, I often watch movies or dramas, or have video calls with my family overseas.
