FAQ

  • Please tell me the market price of rental properties around Karuizawa.

Roughly speaking, if you were to rent the same property in Tokyo, it would be about half the price. The market price changes little by little depending on the area, with the Shin-Karuizawa area being the most expensive, and the further west you go to Naka-Karuizawa and Oiwake, the cheaper it tends to be.

If you move further west to Miyota Town and Saku City, there are many properties, including many newly built properties, so your options will expand. Rent prices are almost the same as in the Oiwake area.

Since we live in a car-based society, parking is often included in the rent, and even if it's an extra charge, it's about an additional 2000 yen.

  • Please tell me about the climate in Karuizawa.

Karuizawa, located on a slope between 950m and 1,200m above sea level at the southern foot of Mt. Asama, is famous as a summer resort.
It has a "high climate" with cool summers and cold winters, with an average annual temperature of 8.6℃. This is about 16.4 degrees Celsius lower than Tokyo's average temperature of 8 degrees Celsius.

I think many people have an image of snow in Nagano in winter, but Karuizawa has very little snowfall, and only a few times a season it snows as much as 10cm.

  • Please tell me about the commuting area and method after joining the company.

For those who are particular about the natural environment and short commuting distance and want to live in Karuizawa Town, or for those who live in nearby cities such as Saku City and Miyota Town, which are within a 20-30 minute commuting time and convenient for living and shopping. There are people who do.

Selected to suit your lifestyle. Some people in Karuizawa Town commute on foot or by bicycle, but most people commute by car.

We do not recommend taking trains as they are infrequent and have only one route.
