Navi: What made you decide to immigrate?
Mr. M: At the time, I was living in Yokohama, but I was wondering if it was the best environment to raise a child, remembering my own childhood growing up in a rural area. It was also around the time that I started visiting housing exhibition halls thinking it was time to buy my own home, so I thought now was the perfect time. Navi: What made you consider moving to Karuizawa?
Mr. M (husband): I had been renting a vacation rental in Karuizawa for one week each summer and fall for about 15 years, so I was very familiar with it. As I continued to stay in Karuizawa every year, I came to realize that I wanted to live there someday, and when I happened to stop by Karuizawa Villa Navi during a walk, I heard about it, and that's when I started making it a reality.
Mr. U (wife): Another important factor was that I wanted a house with a garden and a deck so I could spend time freely with my precious family (Kurumi, a Shiba Inu) (lol)
