Gallery Jukan will be holding workshops mainly on the weekends from July 7nd to August 22th. You can participate in either event without making a reservation.

“Creating a masterful rose bouquet photo frame”
“Artisan rose brooch making”

July 22nd (Sat) and 23rd (Sun) 10:00-17:00

``Takumi's roses'' are made by carving cypress wood with a planer and finishing it in the shape of a flower by hand. Create original photo frames and brooches using artisanal mini bouquets of roses. You can also attach a message card to the photo frame, making it a great gift.
Participation fee: 2,750 yen

“Hiba planer shaving experience”

July 22nd (Sat) and 23rd (Sun) 10:00-17:00

Hiba wood emits a refreshing scent that calms the mind. Why not try carving a thin layer of cypress wood with a plane? You can enjoy the feeling of forest bathing by taking home the carved wood you have carved yourself and floating it in your bath. Very popular with children.
Participation fee: 660 yen

"Making silver clay accessories"

July 7th (Thursday), 27th (Friday), August 28rd (Wednesday), 8th (Thursday)
10:00-17:00

You can enjoy making original accessories with Art Clay Silver, which becomes pure silver when fired.
Before it dries, you create your desired pattern on the material, which is soft like clay, and after firing and polishing it on the spot, you choose the string of your choice. Even children can easily do it, so please feel free to join us.
Participation fee: 3,000 yen ~ (Optional chains etc. are also available)

"Make sweets parfait candle"

A parfait glass is topped with wax that resembles ice cream and toppings that resemble fruits such as strawberries, and a glossy syrup-like gel is poured over the top.

"Making gel stained ornaments"

July 7th (Sat), 29th (Sun), August 30th (Sat), 8th (Sun), 5th (Sat), 6th (Sun)
10:00-16:00

It is an ornament made by filling a wooden frame with beads and gel. If you hang it near a window, the light will pass through and you can enjoy the sparkle of stained glass.

"Summer vine basket arrangement made with dried flowers"

July 8th (Sat) and 19th (Sun)
10:00-17:00

Why not make a cool vine basket by hand using summery dried flowers such as sunflowers? Even first-timers can easily participate. Let's create an arrangement that will bring back memories of summer in Karuizawa.
