The special feature is that Nihachi soba is made in-house using a custom-made stone mill using only the amount used each day. Coarsely ground buckwheat flour has a very rich soba flavor. From the large windows in the modern space, you can enjoy the seasonal views of Karuizawa. Enjoy stylish soba restaurant sake while listening to the sound of the clear stream.

Shinshu seasonal platter and soba set

The set, which is only available for lunch, is a limited menu at Sekireibashi Kawakami-an. You can enjoy the unique taste of Shinshu in small portions.

Speaking of Kawakami-an, this Tenseirogami is the first thing that comes to mind. The most popular dishes are the tempura with two gorgeous shrimp and vegetables, and the flavorful soba noodles.
