Yadogi lantern

Yadogi spreads through the forest when wild birds carry its fruit. Like a bird carrying the fruit of happiness, why not walk along the path from Harunire Terrace to Mominoki Plaza, where the symbolic tree shines, holding a lantern with the image of a mistletoe fruit.

Harunire Terrace

Harunire Terrace is home to 16 unique stores, including restaurants, cafes, and general stores. Shining above their heads are illuminations in the shape of a yadorigi, which is an essential part of Christmas. Legend has it that if you pass under Yadogi, you will be blessed with happiness. Search for Christmas gifts, enjoy cafes and meals while wishing your loved ones happiness. Time passes easily.

Symbol tree of fir tree square

At the center of "Christmas in Karuizawa Hoshino Area" is the symbolic tree at Mominoki Square. It warmly lights up the Christmas night, as if watching over visitors.

The symbol tree, which is also a popular photo spot, is a real fir tree with a height of 10m. If you stand between the branches, you'll get a sparkling photo that looks like it's lost in stardust.
