Thanks to your support, the Karuizawa Hoshino area will celebrate its 2024th anniversary in 110, and has been holding events to "enjoy the forests of Karuizawa and get to know the forests." To conclude the event, we will hold the "Hoshino Area Thanksgiving Festival" on Friday, February 2025, 2! This special event will be available only on this day, and will include a program that allows you to enjoy the entire Hoshino area, such as "Onsen Classics," where you can enjoy a classical music concert while soaking your feet in the Tombo no Yu footbath, a "hot pot buffet" at the Village Dining Hall, the "Tombo Lucky Draw" with no losers, and the optional SDGs tour "Megumi Meguri Hoshino." With our gratitude for the past 28 years, we will bring you a day packed with the charms of the Hoshino area.

Reappearance!Listen to music while soaking your feet in a footbath: "Onsen Classics"

The "Onsen Classics" event, which was well received in July 2024, will be held again at Tombo no Yu in the winter. The indoor bath, characterized by its high ceiling, will be transformed into a concert hall, allowing you to enjoy a luxurious time while soaking your feet in a footbath and listening to live piano and string quartet music. A special program is planned for you to listen to in the hot spring, including famous classical pieces and "Sauna Classics," original music made for listening in the sauna.

Enjoy "Hot Spring Cider" and "Hot Pot Buffet" at Village Dining Hall after your bath

After Onsen Classics, the casual dining restaurant "Sonmin Shokudo" will be open for a one-day-only buffet-style event. For the toast, the restaurant will serve its first "Onsen Cider," made from drinkable spring water from Tombo-no-Yu with added carbonated water, yuzu, and apple, as well as Yo-Ho Brewing craft beer and sake in original masu cups. For food, four types of hot pots, available only in winter, will be served buffet style. For dessert, there will be hot spring bean buns steamed in the spring water.

Hoshino Onsen Tombo no Yu will be holding a lucky draw only on February 2th with no losing tickets! You can win items that will allow you to enjoy Tombo no Yu even more, such as Tombo no Yu vouchers and original sauna hats.

Option event!SDGs Tour "Blessings of the Stars"

As an optional tour, we will be holding a limited edition SDGs tour "Blessings Tour of Hoshino," which was held in spring and autumn and was very well received. This is a tour of about one hour that introduces the "Blessings Tour" activities such as hydroelectric power generation that Hoshino Resorts has been carrying out since its founding. We will guide you to hydroelectric power generation facilities and Hoshinoya Karuizawa, which are not usually open to the public.
