A warm townscape lit by mistletoe trees - Christmas in the Karuizawa Hoshino area

This is the season when the townscape, surrounded by forest, is bathed in gentle light.
Harunire Terrace is lined with decorations of mistletoe trees, which are considered a symbol of happiness, and a 10m-tall Christmas tree welcomes visitors to Fir Tree Plaza. In addition, "Mistletoe Lanterns" with a mistletoe fruit motif will be available for rental. Enjoy a peaceful Christmas moment where the scent of nature and illuminations blend in harmony.

Christmas tree at Mominoki Square

The Christmas tree at Fir Tree Square next to Tombo no Yu warmly lights up the Christmas night as if watching over the visitors. The Christmas tree, which is also a popular photo spot, is a real fir tree that is 10 meters tall. If you stand between the branches, you will get a sparkling photo that looks like you are mixed in with the stardust.

Harunire Terrace

Harunire Terrace is home to 16 unique restaurants, cafes, and general goods stores. Shining above them are illuminations in the shape of a mistletoe, an indispensable Christmas tree. There is a legend that if you walk under a mistletoe, you will be blessed with happiness. While wishing happiness for your loved ones, you can spend a relaxing time searching for Christmas gifts, enjoying a cafe or meal.

Karuizawa Kogen Church Starry Forest Christmas
