“Hoshino Community Base” enriches Karuizawa life

At Hoshino Community Base, we hold courses, workshops, and events with the theme of "enriching life in Karuizawa" for people living in Karuizawa and its surrounding areas.

Hoshino Community Base aims to become a place where participants can gain knowledge and information that will enrich their lives in Karuizawa, get active in nature, and before they know it, the number of familiar faces is increasing. That's what I'm aiming for.

``Base'' is located at the base of Mt.Asama and expresses our desire to be a base where loose connections and communication are born between people who love living in Karuizawa. I put it in.

KIDS solo hot spring debut

This is a hot spring course to support children so that they can go to a hot spring by themselves when they enter elementary school. In recent years, the age at which children can bathe together has been lowered nationwide. At Hoshino Onsen Tombo-no-Yu, girls are no longer allowed to enter the men's bath and boys are no longer allowed to enter the women's bath once they reach elementary school. In this course, you will learn bathing etiquette through classroom lectures, and then take a bath under the supervision of staff.

Fresh green YURU-Run

Together with staff from the Karuizawa Hoshino area, we will depart from Hoshino Onsen Tombo no Yu and run along the mountain stream. While feeling the refreshing breeze of early summer, go slowly, effortlessly, and without trying too hard. I stopped and took a break when I saw a wild bird that suddenly appeared. Whether you want to run once in a while or if running is your daily routine, you can enjoy running at your own pace.
