History

The beginning of Hoshino area

The first generation of the Hoshino family, Kasuke, made a fortune in the silk-reeling industry, and the second generation, Kuniji Hoshino, acquired the current Hoshino land. If there was a hot spring in Karuizawa, we thought that it would be the only place that could compete with any other place, both as a hot spring resort and as a summer resort, so we started digging for a hot spring.
